Oh I have. It's my default as well, since I abhor html email myself.

Imagine my horror when the first post I made to this list, despite my carefully checking of all my settings prior to posting, showed up as HTML. I recall apologizing at the time. All of my defaults are to handle mail strictly in plain text. Believe me, it is not my idea to post HTML. I hate it.
Even this very message as I am composing it informs me at the top:
RE: New Thread Button? (was RE: IMAP,moving to TB - Message (Plain Text) - Latin 9 (ISO)
Yet, something will translate it into HTML by the time it reaches the list :( This has only started happening since they moved me to MS Exchange. I believe it is reformatting my plain text into html.
It seems I cannot participate on this list due to it's rules against posting HTML email, so I will not post again and will merely read. Eventually everyone asks my questions it seems so it's not so bad I guess.
One last chance is that I may be able to post via the web archives as one person suggested to me, so I will look into that.
