There are three options to delete your messages (semi)automatically.

Set the folder properties to keep messages for 1 day ( or 0 days) and
purge and compress on exit. Now your messages are deleted as soon as
they're one day old.

Set the folder properties to keep 1 message in the folder. (Don't know
whether zero messages is valid) and purge and compress on exit. Now
you're messages are deleted as soon as you exit TB.

Both options have the advantage that they're fully automatic, but
that's their disadvantage too. The messages get also deleted when you
don't backup. (you're ill, on holiday, whatever)

The third option is to create a batch file (that's dos talk) to delete
the messages.tbb and messages.tbi of the respective folders. Create a
shortcut on your desktop to this batch file and you can delete all of
your messages whenever you feel like it. When you're not familiar with
batch files, post the folders you want to get rid of, including the
full path of your account and I'll take a look at it.

The latter way is best to be done without TB active, butt IIRC TB can
be closed from a batch file.
