I doubt VERY much that this is a problem with TB!. I was having a long
standing stability problem with my laptop. It would blue screen on me
at the most unexpected times and then reboot. Turns out to be a driver
and BIOS issue with the video adapter. Upgrading the system BIOS and
video drivers fixed the problem.

Rebooting of XP in a fashion like that no doubt indicates a defective
hardware or driver problem.

I did that across the network so that I keep my accounts on a
different machine and the move went without problems. <shrug> Things
aren't going too well on your machine. It can be a real pain to figure
out what the problem is. I can only wish you luck. From experience
though, I've found that the very programs that you install to help
keep things going problem free can be the very source of your
problems.

... on your system and TB! is very likely just caught in between.

I'm running TB! on XP here and I can assure you that it runs stably on
XP. Very stably! :-)
