I know this is OT, so I will be brief. Currently I am using "eTrust EZ antivirus program" (formerly Inoculate Personal edition) from Computer Associates International or CAI. It is not free, but reasonable priced. It is time for the yearly renewal. I wonder if I should renew or choose something "better"? It doesn't have the plug-in to BAT, although I am not sure what this would do other than I am getting now. (I cannot open infected attachments).
Is there a reliable review of the antivirus softwares somewhere, or is there a more or less consensus of BAT users? I came across, but did not use: AVP from Grisoft, Karpensky-s Lite (the regular is rather expensive), NOD32 (mid-priced) and Norton/Mack. Used F-prot in DOS times. Thank you in advance and sorry for the OT, but hopefully the moderator won't mind since it is a general interest topics. -- Best regards, Peter Toronto, Canada Using The Bat! v1.61 on Windows 98 4.10 Build 1998 "An economist is an expert who will know tomorrow why the things he predicted yesterday didn't happened today". by Laurence J.
