It would seem that we've been way too lenient with requests for help that has nothing to do with TB!. It's now becoming common since it's deemed acceptable. It's now becoming frustrating for subscribers who wish to see mail having to do with TB! and instead are receiving messages that are either completely off-topic or messages struggling to be off-topic. I guess things like this should really be in black and white since the grey is hard to define. In future, please start new threads to this list on-topic. Please!! Allowing the occasional *short* off-topic discussion initiated as off-topic isn't working out. We created TBOT, a discussion group explicitly for the purpose of off-topic discussions. TBUDL has very knowledgeable members who are willing to help on matters unrelated to TB!. Many are subscribed to TBOT. Not to mention that many of the veteran members get along real well and find it a nice place to continue discussions that are still interesting but that have drifted off-topic.
