Hi tbudl, I have contacts that speak many different langiages. So it would be useful if I could start (and sign) my message in the language spoken by the contact. Therefore, in the address book, I entered a language code in the Memo field of each "language group" and I hoped to "read" this code with a regular expression.
But I can't seem to find a way to read the value of the memo field. I did find a tbudl issue on the names of days in French and English, but as a newbie, I don't understand how it works. Does anybody know if "reading" the value of the Memo field in the address book is possible? And if it's not, does anybody know of an alternate method of creating contact dependent text? I prefer writing text for language groups rather than entering text per contact, since it saves work, it enhances consistency and make maintenance more easy. Kind regards, Heijo Alting (I'm new to this list as of today. If I'm doing things wrong, please be so kind notify me.) ________________________________________________________ Current Ver: 1.61 FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Bug Reports: https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/
