Hello Bat Folk. I've posed this question to you all a couple of times but never gotten a satisfactory answer. I've written to the RIT lab wizards - no response. I've asked for a new option to handle this; no dice. Maybe there isn't an answer but here goes anyway.
Here's the scenario: You write me and ask for someone's email address. I respond to your email but I have to look up the email address in my AB. At the moment, the only way I know how to accomplish this is to search the AB, move my cursor down to the email address, copy it & insert it into my response to you. This seems pretty primitive for such a sophisticated program as TB!. So I wondered if there was a shortcut, a macro, a regexp, a something to do it faster. I've read the help files, the macro files, thought about regexps [which confuse me no end] & the only thing I've come up with is the following. The ABnnnPPP macro can produce the 'email' value. But I see no other way of even identifying an email address automatically. And I can't figure out how to connect search to this value. I guess I could write a 3rd party macro w PowerPro or something like that but I don't think it should be necessary. Anybody have any thoughts on this essentially simple problem?
