Jan,

Yes, it is; in fact, I routinely keep data there instead of the
default program file subdirectories whenever possible. Roelof's
message gives you the specific steps. The common folders, however,
will stubbornly stay in the program directory.

At the risk of veering off-topic, you might consider a variety of
backup options which can pull data from different corners of your
drive. For example, if you are on Windows, there is often data in the
\windows\application data subdirectories that is worth preserving, and
there might be various .ini files here and there that are worth
marking for backup. A backup regime that snags files wherever you
point it would also take care of TB!'s common files (and even obviate
the need to move them at all).

BTW, what was the specific problem with your HD?
