Checked the above, settings are:

MIME Base64
Separately in a special directory
F:\Attachments

I  have  restarted  both  TB  and the Pc since posting originally, and
whilst  composing  this message noticed a couple of winmail.dat in the
attachments folders. Did another test to myself, and the files are now
going into the attachment folder.

Something gone a bit awry which a reboot has fixed?

I  do have one other problem, I have the attachments set to be deleted
when  the  message is deleted from the trash folder, but this does not
happen.
