Thank you all the help and suggestions. I finally solved it. After collecting a number of quotations I like, I compiled them in Word first, arranged for line ends etc and used the Enter/Return key at the end of line. Then replaced ^p^p (end of paragraph) with && (or anything else)temporarily then exchanged ^p (end op line) with \n, and converted back the && to ^p^p (end of paragraph). This did the job. Using the macro cookie and assigning the filename Quotations it work fine using random selection. -- Best regards, Peter mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v1.62/Beta4 on Windows 98 "Faced with the choice between changing one's mind and proving there is no need to do so, almost everyone gets busy on the proof." - John Kenneth Galbraith ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.61 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
