Hi
I just subscribed to this mailinglist, and hope someone can help me
out. I've looked through the TBUDL-archives, but didn't find the
answers there.
I've set up a bunch of filters, TRYING to sort out what is really for
me, and what's not. One of them deals with viruses.
It's set up like this:
RULE:
Source folder: Inbox
-Move messages to folder: Inbox - possible spam or virus
-(some email-address-filtering)
-String: Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
Location: Kludges - Presence: Yes
-String: boundary=
Location: Kludges - Presence: Yes
-[o] Active
ADVANCED:
-[v] Message has attachments
-[v] Adress(es) must not be listed in the address book
Items: Sender
I've noticed that a virus I get a lot, has "message.htm", and 2 other
files attached. One of them is often a jpg-file, the last one is the
virus (exe/bat/whatever). Now, I have Norton AntiVirus 2000 running in
the background, and that takes care of the virus. But because of this,
the filter doesn't seem to work...? If I run the filter manually later
on, the mail is moved to my spam/virus-folderas it was supposed to be
automatically when it arrives.
Anyknow how to solve this?
And, is there ANY way to filter mail that does NOT have the same
email-address in "From:" and in "Return-Path:"? Getting to sort out
these mails would help A LOT in filtering spam and virus.
Regards,
