Just noticed something. Say if you are on a web page, and fill in a form, and it says that it is going to send it by email. Then I got a Bat dialogue asking to pick the account. And something was sent that way. But, I noticed that all unparked mails in the Out box were sent as well. Only after a little while did I ponder this possibility. So, just for your information, its possible to get things sent without your intention.
Also, if you look at the Sent folder, you can miss it. The other messages just sent are tossed in dozens of messages before the top.
