Hey Rico,

RD> What I can't work out, and I have been through the menus and read
RD> the FAQ, is how to apply mail rules/filters at a generic level. I
RD> can only see how to apply them on an account-by-account level.

That is the only way I know of.

RD> This also applies to setting account polling options (i.e. check
RD> every 5 minutes). If I want to change the time I have to do it
RD> separately for each account.

That is the only way I know of.

RD> Another things is that I can't work out how to set the default
RD> list view for all mail folders/accounts. If I order folder_01 by
RD> time, I still find that folder_02 is listed by sender. I'd like to
RD> be able to organise all my folders the same way, without having to
RD> do it on a piecemeal, one-by-one basis.

Right click on a folder and select Properties, then check "Use the
account default column settings". Each folder you check this for will
have the same column settings, and any change will be reflected in
all.

RD> I apologise if this is a FAQ and I haven't looked in the right
RD> place. The only place I've looked is
RD> http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/faq.html apart from the
RD> installed Windows help file.

Those are the only place I know of to look other than asking here <g>.

btw, the above is asked fairly frequently and may even be in the
feature request list (check the Info link at the bottom of the message
for more info.)
