Hi List. I'm very picky with e-mail clients. I don't really care if they look good or not, they just need to have lots of features && options so I can customize it to how I want. Well, The Bat hits the spot! It really is an awesome e-mail client. The only problem I'm having with it is with IMAP. Once I enabled IMAP, it actually went and tried to download all 987 messages sitting on the server. Is there any way to tell it to download *only* headers unless I open a message? FWIW I'm using IMAP with TLS.
Other than that I kept getting "Folder Destination Not Found" (or similar) and it gave me the option to specify an alternate server. Does this mean I have to create every folder locally and "sync" each IMAP folder to it? (if so, what a PITA!) I hope I'm doing something wrong because I would really like to keep using The Bat.
