I don't really use read filters, but something just sprung to mind so
I thought I'd suggest it.
Could you set up a filter that deletes the mail as the first read
filter, set it not to continue with other filters and then assign it a
hot key? Then instead of hitting delete you would just hit whatever
key you assigned that filter and it would bin the message and avoid
other filters.
