Since the new beta has already been mentioned here I can as well point
out the following line from the what's new section:
[-] Attachments were not deleted from the attachments directory
when they were deleted from the Trash folder.
It seems like the bug has already been addressed (although I myself has
not tried the new beta yet and does not store attachments separately
since I discovered the mentioned bug a long time ago).
