Are you by any chance using EFS? I had problems like the ones you described when encrypting the mail base folders and then using multiple profiles and checking mail so I stopped using it. No I'm not using EFS. I only compress the folders when TB exits. Could you tell me how you have your own machine set up, so I can compare?
