Only if the source folder doesn't exist. The Inbox always exists so
it will not change. It's an incoming filter rule anyway so the
source has to be the Inbox.

After importing the filter, you'll see that I've included filter
strings to catch the autoresponder message. The mainset is all
that's about. You can inspect your own autoresponder messages and
see what strings are suitable.

The string [EMAIL PROTECTED] is my spamcop address which will not
be included in your autoresponder messages.
