Although I had clicked "no," when TB! asked me whether I want to delete only the items associated with the group in which the entry to be deleted was found, it preserved the entry in the general AB, i.e., not associated with any particular group. Now that I've deleted that, the handle recycles just fine. IMO, that dialog box that comes up when trying to delete an entry in a group that hides its members is fatally confusing. It should be clarified soon.
