IIRC, a virus was detected a couple of years ago that targeted TB
users. I remember the hype very well. However, not a single infection
was reported. I don't think we will see one very soon, either:

First of all, there are not so many computers with TB running as there
are with OE/OL. Virus writers take satisfaction in numbers.

Second, the TB users tend to be more virus aware on average, so that
the probability that an AV software is runnung is much higher than
with the average OE/OL user.

Third, there is no way to make a virus install itself when it arrives
via email into TB. The user (remember, the one who is more aware of
security issues and therefore probably does not click on an attachment
he doesn't know) needs to click on the attachment *and* ignore the
automated warning.

Fourth, if a user does get infected and the virus uses its own SMTP
engine, TB users are more likely to have a firewall running that
detect outbound traffic.
