Beside the fact it doesn't matter if programming language changes to call it a 'complete rewrite' (could be completely rewritten in same environment; rewrite only means to throw away [most] old sources instead of altering them), it's "Delphi 2/6" vs. "C++" if I'm informed correctly. Might be I err, of course. But at least doesn't matter; mistakes can be made in both languages and therefore the only thing that counts is the result. If v2 is to buugy and unstable it can be written in whatever you like, it doesn't make it better.
