Can anyone tell me why the WB> %CURSOR macro isn't working as I expect it should? Because you seems to expect the wrong. 1.) Make use the template you gave is invoked when you start a new mail. If you set it up in address book for the TBUDL e-mail-address to be used it is only invoked and evaluated it To actually contains that address. Sounds logically, doesn't it? If this address is in To: it does what I and many others expect. Try to move the focus from 'To:' field to body by using <Tab>. Press <Tab> only once, see where the focus is, if it ain't in message body press it another time. When the focus reaches the body, the cursor is _EXACTLY_ where you placed %CURSOR. Now close this mail, open a new one and fill out "To" with thte correct address again (or start a new message from AB for using the correct To). Now click _once_ into message body and see where the cursor is. Exactly where you placed the corresponding macro. Now try to think about all this new experiences ... And you'll see: This macro ain't for setting _FOCUS_ but only _CURSOR_. "To:" is initially focused you _you_ being able to enter the intended recipient easily. The normal way to create a message is: "I want to write Fred about our barbecue next weekend." (1) (2) (3) >From To What and not "I want to write about our barbecue next weekend." ... "I'm finished, let's see who could be interested ... ahh ... maybe the red cross ... or anonymous alcoholics?" When entering the message body the %CURSOR macro only serves you with comfort of being able to type instantly, because the cursor is positioned correctly and if your templates are well done the greeting is already filled out.
