gosh...
1 mail:about 3 kb...
1 mail with xface= 3+1=4 kb

mail per day: about 200 (for me)= increasing about 200kb daily
downloads (think it in a mail list...)
Also, when i`ve seen used Xface (in NG), i`ve discovered that it`s
never used to transmit real face, but logos or toons like pictures...
You don`t think it`s better to use Shift-Ctrl-O and the picture here
displayed, so we can receive _once_ the photo of our interlocutor?;

Maybe can be a nice thing to have a option to display in preview pane
a miniature - generated ( _once_ and saved in AB) by TB resampling the
big one in the address book or even given by user - of the photo
related to the sender.
