so, i'm a student, and, as such, i recieve a boat load of e-mail.

i used to live a happy life of e-mailing; however, this year the spammers seem to have
gotten ahold of my e-mail address. that, combined with the many class mailings and
other such mass mails i recieve has led me to ponder using an e-mail client such as
the Bat! (and finally abandoning my previous one: Pine :)

I've looked at Netscape and Outlook, which my school supports, but decided against
them due to security and user interface shortcommings. The Bat! seems like just what i
need.

Unfortunately, i haven't been able to actually use TB for school e-mail, and i'm not
sure why. I think it might be something to do with our servers.

The following page has info on our e-mail set up:
http://www.rose-hulman.edu/TSC/services/email/new_email_server_setup/

Also, i know there is a good cross-section of users here that run Opera, and i was
wondering what your thoughts were on this new M2 mail client. ...however, two topics
on one post are always a bad idea, anyway.

So let me finish by pointing out that if any responses could be kept off list, i bet a
whole bunch of people would be happier :) I wasn't sure, but this seemed like a very
good place to go for quick help. Thanks!
