FWIW, I have TB set to open maximised. You don't say which OS you're
using, but assuming you have the permissions:

1. Right-click the Start menu, choose Explore
2. Browse to Programs\The Bat (or where ever you're TB shortcuts
   live). If you can't find TB's shortcuts there, try browsing All
   Users instead.
3. Right-click the TB shortcut, choose Properties.
4. In Run, Window Size, or whatever your OS calls this setting, choose
   Maximized.

Of course, this is academic, given that you're using "Homemade Jam
Mailer v10", and not TB! <vbg>
