If the text file has a .txt extension then TB! will display it via tabbed separate window unless the .txt file is very large. I don't know the size limit. It just displayed a 100KB text file for me in its own tab. But I had tested a 6.8MB text file the other day and it didn't display it in its own tabbed window. If the text file has other extensions then you'll have to open it with the associated application by double clicking on the attachment. TB! uses the systems associated application. Therefore, if the log file is not being opened, it's because there's something wrong with .log file associations on your system. Do you have .log files associated with your text editor? Also for text file extensions, you can disable the antivirus popup warning by going into Options/Preferences/Warnings. Add .log extension to the list of extensions that are opened without warning. -- -=] Allie C Martin [=- {List Moderator} MUA: TB! v1.62 Christmas Edition ___ OS: WinXP Pro (SP1) ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.62 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
