For mass mailing, you need to create your message as a quick
template and in the quick template configuration, enable 'Use for
new messages/mass mailing'.
You then go in the address book, select the addresse/s or address
book group/s, go to File/Use Mass Mailing with template. Select from
the drop down list which template to use.
An individual message for each selected address or member of
selected address book group/s will be created and sent.

I'm not sure, but I'd examine the headers for something unique. I'd
have to examine a bounced message but I don't have any at present.
The topic is usually distinct, like "Message send failure" You could
filter on that.

I assume that you're referring to the To: drop down history list?
If so, use the up and down arrows to navigate through the list and
the <delete> key to delete entries. There's no option to clear it as
a single command.
VG> Can I cycle through the addresses too?
Yes, but only through the auto-complete option.
If you type a string in the To: field, you can cycle through the
matching addresses in the To: history list using CTRL<+> and
CTRL<->.
