The last one removes all quotation devices no matter how deeply nested. The first two simply prepend "> " or whatever to each line. You'll also notice a bug with Bat! if you are reading this message in it. The three lines above are shown in bold because Bat! thinks I want them to indicated quoted text. Bat! should not assume that when the ">" mark is not at the front of the line.
