On more than one occassion, I've accidentally sent a message before it was "ready to go" because I pressed Ctrl+Enter (usually as a result of me getting ready to press Ctrl+V to paste something, and hitting Ctrl too soon).
Obviously, I have "Confirm Immediate Sending" unchecked. What I want to do is remove the Ctrl+Enter keyboard shortcut, but I can't figure out how to make it disappear for good! I choose "View > Edit Shortcuts" _while composing a new message_ (why this isn't under Options and labelled "Edit Keyboard Shortcuts..." I'll never know. Any menu option that requires more info from the user should end with ellipses, and it makes more sense to me that this would be an "Option" and not a "View" setting, and including the word "Keyboard" would help, since there are many kinds of shortcuts these days, but I digress...) and it shows both Ctrl+Enter and F2 as shortcuts for Send Now. Ctrl+Enter has a "warning" associated with it saying that it is used in a pop-up menu. If I highlight the Ctrl+Enter Send Now line and press the "Backspace" key, it changes to "None" _for that message_, but as soon as I start composing a new message, Ctrl+Enter is back again... Any ideas on how to remove Ctrl+Enter being assigned to Send Now permanently? ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.62 | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
