Well I didn't really give up on Yahoo. I installed YahooPops which
reminded me to read Yahoo's TOS, "Terms of Service" agreement. You can
review the TOS at http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/.

I you look at #16 in the TOS it states the following:

"You agree not to access the Service by any means other than through the
interface that is provided by Yahoo for use in accessing the Service."

Based upon the above statement in the TOS I decided not to use
YahooPops. What I was really looking for was a free Pop3 email account
that I could use with mail lists. I use to use my Yahoo account for
this, but changed after Yahoo started to charge for the Pop3 access.
