Go to Options >> Preferences and under the 'General' tab, select
'Display control center' - Always.
Right click the CC on the taskbar and select 'move'. The mouse
pointer should change to crossed arrows (the move pointer).
Go straight to the arrow keys and use them to move the CC window
back unto the desktop. I'd try moving down and to the right since
the mouse moved to the left upper part of the screen.
Hit <enter> when finished.
