Use %PUT="PATH_AND_FILENAME_TO_EXTERNAL_FILE" in a Quick-Tenmplate.
This might help.

Hmmm, if you want to extract part of the text in the external file,
then you can do this with a regex. But this is not necessary if you
only want to include the contents of a file.
