You don't say which Windows flavour (OS) you are using, and that may help. When you say "the box that comes up" I assume you mean the Properties dialog of the shortcut. What does this "box" have in the Comments field at the bottom?. In Win2k, which I use, the Comments is also displayed when hovering the mouse on the Quick Launch bar (left side of Task bar, next to Start) -- Best regards, Miguel A.
