o Using the macros from the library available here:
  http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/Library.html#quote+extraction

o Copy the Quote Extraction macro into a quick template called quotex.

o Create the wq and  wrap2 quick templates as described in the ReWrap
  reply template.

o Replace the first line of the wq quick template (%COMMENT="%QUOTES"%-)
  with this: %COMMENT='%QINCLUDE="quotex"%-

o Replace the %QUOTES macro in your reply templates with %QINCLUDE="wq"

o Experiment with your reply template and the quick templates using
  the %- macro to eliminate extra blank lines in your reply as desired.

o The first line in the reply template which appears before the quoted
  text (On Thurday, February 20 ..) I enclosed in %WRAPPED='thatline',
  so it would wrap in the same manner as the quoted text.
