Jeanny, you've brought up two items.
1. List your Mom's name, instead of her email address.
2. Move all of your Mom's messages to the MOM folder.
Others, wiser than I, say that you can't add your Mom's name to the
listing. I'm sure you can use color to highlight your Mom's messages
in the message list, but...
If your Mom is the only person who uses her email address to send
messages to you, and if you move all of the messages arriving in your
Inbox from your Mom's email address to the MOM folder, and nobody else
sends you messages from your Mom's email address, do you still need to
have each message listing in the MOM folder indicate that it is a
message is from Mom? Probably not. Just create the MOM folder and move
Mom's email into it.
1. Create the MOM folder.
In the TheBat! window
=====================
right click on the Inbox
select New
select Folder
Name: MOM
2. Create the filter.
In the TheBat! window
=====================
select Account
select Sorting Office
select Incoming Mail
press [New]
Rule tab
========
Name: Mail from Mom into MOM
Move Messages to Folder
press button at right of slot
select Inbox\MOM
press [OK]
Filtering Strings
right click in slot under Strings
type <Mom's email address>
Location: Sender
Presence: Yes
Rule Is
[x] Active
press [Close]
I think that should do it.
