It's an MS proprietary format. Yahoo apparently has given in and
accommodates for it. You can save the attachment and view it with an
application called Fentun.

If his server settings are geared towards OE/OL, you might hint that
"some" people use other mailers. If it is in his interest to have a
large audience, he might want to change to an approach that is not
restricted to users of MS mailers.
