Thanks, Sean, and everyone else.
It doesn't help if you save the file, and the file has a recognisable
suffix (jpeg or jpeg). It isn't just those sent from Macs, but it does
seem to be a Mac sender more than a PC sender. I think I still to find
the pattern - which ones are being rejected, but you've all given me
some things to look for.
