Unfortunately, many of these messages come from services to which I
subscribe; some come from mailing lists. It would be extremely rude of
me to *demand* that the senders change their messages to comply with
RFC822 -- particularly since I'm probably the only person who's
noticed and to who it makes a difference. So, I must deal with this
issue.

At present, I move these messages to my Outbox, insert then delete one
space, save the message, then move it back to the folder from whence
it came. This effectively modifies the creation/time to the time of
saving.

Is there an easier way to correct the creation date, preferably
automatically?
