After years in which Pegasus has been my Emailer and brilliant, I think we're reaching divorce point. I'm looking at TheBat! and Pocomail at the moment though Eudora is an outside possibility.
At the moment I'm experimenting with TB on my list traffic and so far I like much or all of what I see. I managed the rather laborious process of exporting a Pegasus mail folder to one in mbox format and importing to TB - worked fine. However, I have thousands of messages and 50+ folders for different things so I'd love to be able to import from Pegasus PMM files, as I remember it, these aren't so different from mbox, I'm sure someone could build that in. However, the thing that would probably clinch me transferring would be if someone could write something that pulls over the Pegasus PMI information as well since I have memos on some messages, and I really like seeing the "replied to" and "forwarded" markers. What's the chance that this will get written by someone? I suspect that if it were done, a fair wave of people are like me, ready to change.
