I am new to TheBAT! and I must admit I am hooked!
I have spent the last day browsing through the the user list
archives looking for a solution to the "wrong received date"
issue.
I am referring to the problem where the year in the received
date column displays as 2037 or 2010, etc. The issue applies
to messages that are imported. I imported my messages from
Netscape7 Mail.
The archives offered few solutions that I could work on. One
did suggest ignoring the "Received date" and using the
"Created date" column. Unfortunately, the date on those two
columns are not always interchangeable and I need the received
date.
Another solution included re-saving the messages with another
utility. I have done this using Mailbag Assistant and this
did not solve the issue.
Another symptom of this issue includes the received date being
equal to the day I imported the messages.
Has there been a recent solution to this issue that I am not
aware of? (If so, could you pass it along?)
Is there some way that I can (re)save my messages (with
Mailbag Assistant) prior to importing them that would
eliminate this issue?
Better yet, is there something I can do within theBat! to
eliminate this issue?
