There's loads of them. TB pre-downloads new messages to your temp folder as .tmp files before "assimilating" them into the Inbox of the account. Sadly, before TB can do anything with these messages, McAffee is playing nanny and intervening. The files persist because TB is experiencing downloadus interruptus. Normally, TB would create the tmp file, import the message, delete the temp file and all would be well. McAffee is not letting it complete that cycle so the number of tmp files is building up. This is quite a serious issue because the infected message may be giving TB download constipation. What can you do about this? You have three choices. 1) Tell McAffee not to scan files in the temp folder or files of the type '.tmp' and weed out virus infected messages inside TB (don't worry, TB will never auto-infect you just because it happened to *receive* a virus). You'll also have to tell McAffee to leave .tbb files alone otherwise you'll start losing TB folders. 2) Use TB's "Account | Dispatch mail on server" to find the infected message there and delete it without downloading it. You may have to guess which message is infected. 3) Get shot of McAffee and instead use an AV solution that has a TB plug in and won't interfere with normal operation. NOD32 is generally acknowledged as the best while Kaspersky is also known to be good. I personally use AVG, although many don't rate it very highly. - -- Cheers -- .\\arck D Pearlstone -- List moderator TB! v1.63 Beta/10 on Windows XP 5.1.2600 Service Pack 1 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPsdk version 1.7.1 (C) 1997-1999 Network Associates, Inc. and its affiliated companies. iQA/AwUBPuWnNDnkJKuSnc2gEQKfRgCg9coEs96Klq8LURi/eHPnVpXpnCMAniBw sGr3yH7qXyAFBQJbosAuaDD/ =mtwG -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
