JH> Can I maintain a single set of rules that sort mail into these mailboxes
JH> when I'm receiving mail from multiple mailboxes?
If you're receiving from multiple mailboxes (ie different accounts at
your ISP or whatever) then you'll need a TB! account for each mailbox.
The sorting office rules are account specific so you'd need to create
the filters for each account.

As an alternative you could:

1. set up multiple accounts to collect the mail.
2. for each account in (1) set up a single filter to move all mail to
a specific account.
3. for the account in (2) create all of your filters to split the mail
up as you want.

The downside of this is that you would have to invoke the filters in
(3) by calling the refilter option for that account. The upside is
that you would only have to manage one set of filters.
