Although this can work, all his mail will simply go to a particular
folder - someday you may want to have more sophisticated filtering.
I would set up one filter, as the first filter. Here's what's in it:
Rule: Filtering string: @
Location: Sender
Present: Yes
Action: Delete
Delete from server (if kept there)
Forward to you as MIME envelope
Advanced: Addresses must NOT be in AB (his group)
Now you're free to add additional filters which will only be reached
for "approved" email.
