However, in contrast, I've never used the context menu method to create filters. I've always done so manually. I guess one sticks to the method they got themselves accustomed to. Since the ordering of filters is important, I always wish to see the filter set that I'm working with when creating new filters, and I tend to organize them so it's easy to find the filters. If that's what you're accustomed to then, yes. I'm accustomed to opening a filter rules configuration panel and then work from there. I came to TB! with that style and just stuck with it. I tend to just copy and paste the string. It does involve more configuring, but I prefer the control and being able to keep track of my filters. It also makes you more likely to create your rules more efficiently in that you're more familiar with how to setup OR strings and use other filtering options. The context menu filter setup options are basic. But then again, the 'edit' button on the 'create filter' dialog will take you to the main configuration panel. - -- -= allie_M =- | List Moderator _ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP SDK 3.0.2 iQA/AwUBPvcullfJ62ArBxfiEQJvQwCgrM4QBMGL7ZfOYQbEsWKmbNNCeaoAoL1X BrFa9osx0iB43dyDNmzhSl1d =lFdF -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.62r | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
