It sound like web2pop creates new UIDs for the messages every time you
invoke it. TB uses uses the UIDL to check whether messages have been
downloaded yet. So it won't recognise messages downloaded earlier if
the UIds are changed.

I confirm there is no problem with "real" POP accounts.
