>>As long as the Bat's living down in the system tray, is there any way >>to make clicking that icon toggle the window state (i.e. minimize The >>Bat! if its window is already open)?
>A light-colored bar just to the right of my Start icon has a Bat icon >on it when the application is running. Right-clicking this bar gives >me a menu for Close, Minimize, and Restore. Of course, that's two >clicks to toggle. This is just the standard taskbar icon. If I wasn't using the tray icon, I'd use this, which DOES toggle twixt minimized and restored view. I just thought the tray icon made sense for something as frequently used as email, especially with the animated new message indicator. >A right-click on the Bat icon on the far right offers "minimize" plus >a host of other menu choices, including "check mail" and "exit." Had >you noticed those? Wow, I actually didn't. It's interesting that while both Restore and Minimise[sic] actions are at the top of the context menu, "Restore" is set as a default (mouse click) action, whereas "Minimise" is not. If they could simply map Minimize as the default click action when the window is open (it can obviously detect this since Minimise appears there rather than Restore), that'd do the trick. Hey, make it a selectable option in Preferences (like Trillian) and then everyone will be happy. Not a big deal as far as features go, just something that would make that tray icon really nice to use. -- zParticle ________________________________________________ Current version is 1.62r | "Using TBUDL" information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
