Not totally correct for Pop accounts. The folder structure has changed. I have specifically asked this question to Stefan in the past with regard to 1.62 vs 1.63. V2 is basically 1.63 with fixes and some new updates. IIRC the only problem is with the folder structure getting out of sync, otherwise you can run 1.62 & 1.63 on the same mail base which I believe should apply to v2. If you add a new folder in one version, then you will have to do manually in the other version. Again the above only applies to Pop accounts.
