And you're right, the location of that editor under "View" menu is illogical. It should perhaps be located in the recently introduced centralized "Preferences" dialog, even though The Bat! is devious in that the same keyboard shortcut performs a different action depending on where you currently are (writing a message, reading a message, performing a search, or simply in the main window). That is another *wonderful* aspect of TB. Still, all of these variables could be brought together in the centralized Preferences window. I mean, since the Preferences window features two sets of preferences for two various TB editors, why couldn't the same window feature four or five sets of preferences for keyboard shortcuts for each of TB's working environments?
