RA> The second of three accounts here. I don't see much pattern. I'll have new mail on any account and the flag won't go up on the box until I get to the inbox or wherever the new messages went. Wonder if it's something being overpowered by the sorting filters so to speak. Like it forgets the couple/few messages moved to the inbox after doing all the moving around of the list messages and stuff. Another thing I've not tried, but I have a few common folders which most of my mail goes into..
