So it sounds like the connection to the server times out. That has never happened to me (and I often have the mail dispatcher open for 10+ minutes) so it may be a serverside problem. I am not aware of a setting in TB to keep the connection alive (something like NOOP in FTP or IMAP, I don't know if it exists for POP3)...
